(QUIDDITCH FIELD - DAY)

The stadium is full. Ron and Hermione join Neville and Seamus in the Gryffindor section. As the Slytherin and Gryffindor teams take the field, the CROWD ROARS.

WOOD : Scared, Harry?

HARRY : A little.

WOOD : That's all right. I felt the same way before my first game.

HARRY : What happened?

WOOD : I, uh... I don't really remember. I took a Bludger to the head two minutes in. Woke up in the hospital a week later.

 

In the stands, LEE JORDAN does COMMENTARY.

LEE JORDON : Hello and welcome to Hogwarts' first Quidditch game of the season. Today's game, Slytherin versus Gryffindor!

NEVILLE : Gryffindor!

LEE JORDON : The players take their positions as Madame Hooch steps out on to the field to begin the game!

Madame Hooch, she clad in referee robes, addresses the players. As the crowd ROARS, Madam Hooch kicks the crate, realeasing two scraming Bludgers and the Golden Snitch, then tosses up the Quaffle.

 

Madame Hooch : Now I want a nice, clean game from all of you!

LEE JORDON : The Bludgers are up, followed by the Golden Snitch. Remember, the Snitch is worth 150 points. The seeker who catches the Snitch ends the game. The Quaffle is realeased and the game begin. Angelina Johnson scores! Ten points for Gryffindor!

HARRY : Yes!

HAGRID : Well done!

LEE JORDON : Slytherin takes possession of the Quaffle. Bletchly passes to Captain Marcus Flint. 

HARRY : Yes!

LEE JORDON : Another 10 points to Gryffindor!

HERMIONE : Go Weasley!

MARCUS : Give me, that!

HAGRID : What's going on with Harry's broomstick?

HERMIONE : (whispering to Ron) It's Snape, he's jinxing the broom!

RON : Jinxing the broom? What do we do?

HERMIONE : Leave it to me.

CRABBE : Shame!

RON : Come on, Hermione.

HERMIONE : Lacarnum Inflamarae.

PEOPLE 1 : Fire! You're on the fire!

RON : Come on!

HAGRID : Go, go...

 

HAGRID : Looks like he's gonna be sick!

LEE JORDON : He's got the Snitch. Harry Potter receives 150 points for catching the Snitch!

Madame Hooch : Gryffindor wins!

MALFOY : Oh, no.

HAGRID : Yes!

Gryffindor's students : Go, go, Gryffindor!
