영어공부 | 해리포터와 마법사의 돌 Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone - 해리, 헤르미온느, 론이 그리핀도르 기숙사 밖으로 나가지 못하게 하는 네빌, 하프 소리에 자고 있던 플러피가 연주가 멈추자 잠에서 깬다.

(GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM - NIGHT)

Hermione, Harry and Ron creep when -- CROAK! -- they freeze. Look. Breath a sigh of relief.

 

RON : Trevor.

 

Trevor the toad blinks up at them. CROAK!

 

RON : Trevor! Shh! Go! You shouldn't be here.

NEVILLE : Neither should you.

 

Neville rises from an armchair.

 

NEVILLE : You're sneaking out again, aren't you?

HARRY : Now, Neville, listen... We were...

NEVILLE : No! I won't let you. You'll get Gryffindor into trouble again. I'll fight you!

 

Neville raises his fists. Unfortunately, his teddy bear pyjamas somewhat undermine the intended effect.

 

HERMIONE : Neville, I'm really, really sorry about this. (raising her wand) Petrificus Totalus!

 

Instantly, Neville's arms and legs snap to his sides. He SWAYS...then FALLS FLAT...only his eyes moving, staring at them in horror. Harry and Ron look a little horrified too.

 

RON : You're a little scary sometimes, you know that? Brilliant. But scary.

HARRY : Let's go! Sorry.

RON : Sorry. It's for your own good, you know.

 

(THIRD FLOOR CORRIDOR - MOMENTS LATER - NIGHT)

 

HERMIONE : Ow. You stood on my foot!

RON : Sorry.

HERMIONE : Alohomora.

 

(FORBIDDEN CORRIDOR - NIGHT)

The light from the corridor falls on a harp. Playing by itself.

 

RON : Wait a minute. He's...

HARRY : snoring. Snape's already been here. He's put a spell on the harp.

RON : Urgh. It's got horrible breath.

HARRY : We have to move its paw.

RON : What?

HARRY : Come on! Okay. (straining mightily) Push.

 

The massive paw lays across the trapdoor. Once done, Harry flings it open. Below lies only darkness...a faint whistling wind.

HARRY : I'll go first. Don't follow until I give you a sign. If something bad happens, get yourselves out. (stopping) Does it seem a bit quiet to you? 

HERMIONE : The harp. It's stopped playing.

 

Splat! Something wet and sticky hits Ron's shoulder.

 

RON : Urgh! Yuck!

 

Slowly, they look up. A MONSTROUS, DROOLING SHADOW darkens their faces. Fluffy. Awake. Hungry. Each head ponders its own particular snack, then, with a mighty GROWL, swoops.

 

HARRY : Jump!

 

Instantly, the trio pitches themselves into the darkness...
